Join Our New Customer Steering Group

Good afternoon, I am from MSDP, my name is Janice.

I’ll be talking about our Customer Steering group and recruiting new members.  If you become a member of the group you would be involved in making a better future for MSDP.  We would appreciate your ideas and input. 

There are only 4 meetings a year, and each one lasts 2-3 hours.  The meetings most likely would take place on a Tuesday evening.  At the meetings we will discuss what works well and improvements that could be made.  Currently, there are gaps in our service for Deaf people and their families.  So, we would appreciate your perspective, and we will collect your feedback and ideas and report back to the Trustees.

Our objective is to look at how we can improve in the future.

Who can join?

MSDP clients, support service clients, children of Deaf adults (CODAs), family members of Deaf people or parents of Deaf children.  MSDP community members and those involved in other groups are also welcome to join the group. 

We will provide BSL Interpreters, 2 at each meeting and provide you with free training such as Deaf Awareness, Safeguarding, etc.  We will also complete a full DBS check.  You can become a powerful voice for change.  Share your experiences and help us improve our community.
